JW Marriott Phu Quoc Restaurants: Full Dining Guide (2026)
JW Marriott Phu Quoc has 5 restaurants and bars — Tempus Fugit, Red Rum, D.O.C Bar, French & Co and Pink Pearl — and all of them are open to non-guests, so you can eat here without booking a room. Pink Pearl is the one that needs a reservation (French set menus, 6–10 PM); everywhere else you can walk in. The Lamarck Night Market is currently closed. I’ve lived on Phu Quoc for five years and eaten at each of these more than once, so below is what is actually worth ordering at each one, with current hours.
Rooms, pools and pricing are a separate question — those are covered in my full JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa review. This guide is only about the food.

- Do you need to be a guest? No — all five are open to non-guests.
- What needs booking? Only Pink Pearl. Reserve it a day or two ahead in high season.
- Best single meal on property? Breakfast at Tempus Fugit, followed by dinner at Red Rum.
Tempus Fugit — Breakfast & All-Day Dining
High arched ceilings and Greco-Roman columns give this place a proper “university dining hall” feel. Tempus Fugit has its own department too, actually — Architecture (“Studio of Architecture”), which you’ll spot on the big welcome sign and the miniature staircase displays inside. Breakfast here is the best meal on property, hands down — Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Western spreads all at once, and the bakery corner is the real strength. Don’t skip the French toast or the croissants.
Fruit gets cut to order, and drinks like ca phe sua da are made fresh in front of you. It’s a breakfast spread that holds its own against any other 5-star resort I’ve stayed at.
👉 Order this: French toast, croissants, ca phe sua da

Red Rum — Lunch & Dinner
My favorite of the 5 restaurants here. The open kitchen keeps everything fresh, and the oceanfront setting means the view’s part of the meal. You can order poolside from the loungers too — pizza and fries for a light lunch, then steak or lobster for a proper dinner.
👉 Order this: steak, fish tacos, calamari, churros

D.O.C Bar — Chemistry-Department Cocktail Bar
The name stands for “Department Of Chemistry,” and they commit — a periodic table covers the ceiling, lab equipment is scattered around, and staff wear lab coats. It’s the most fully-realized concept space on the entire property. Show up during happy hour (5–7 PM) for 1-for-1 drinks and a sunset over the water.
👉 Order this: calamansi lemongrass mojito, the coconut-calamansi non-alcoholic mocktail

French & Co — Bakery & Café
This is where you get the resort’s signature dessert: an oversized shaved-ice bowl (bingsu). Mango is the classic, but there’s also tropical fruit, wild berry, and Valrhona chocolate versions. The seasonal afternoon tea is worth pairing with it if there’s more than one of you.

Pink Pearl — Romantic Fine Dining
Think a French colonial-era mansion done up in bold pink, with live classical music playing. This is the resort’s flagship dining room, built for a special dinner or a honeymoon night out. It’s only open 6–10 PM, and reservations are required.
Three set menus, prices before service charge and tax:
- 8-course: ≈$190 (VND 4,988,000++) per person
- 6-course: ≈$170 (VND 4,488,000++) per person
- 5-course vegetarian: ≈$90 (VND 2,380,000++) per person

Lamarck Night Market — Currently Closed (For Reference)
This used to run every Saturday evening inside the resort, giving you a taste of a Phu Quoc night market without leaving property. You’d buy coupons at the entrance and trade them at stalls for food (coconut juice, grilled chicken wings) or goods (local wine, craft beer, Vietnamese lanterns and incense), with traditional performances and face painting for kids along the way.
⚠️ It’s not running right now. There’s a chance it comes back, but nothing’s confirmed — I’m leaving this here for reference, but confirm directly with the resort before you plan around it.

Do You Have to Be a Hotel Guest to Eat Here?
No — all 5 restaurants are open to non-guests, and I’ve eaten here plenty of times without staying the night. Give your name at the gate and say which restaurant you’re headed to.
Two practical notes if you’re coming in from outside: Pink Pearl needs a reservation, and the drive from Duong Dong is around 35–40 minutes, so a lunch at Red Rum works better as a half-day plan than a quick stop. Staying in the south makes this much easier — the area trade-offs are in my where to stay in Phu Quoc guide.
FAQ
What should I actually order at JW Marriott Phu Quoc?
The French toast at Tempus Fugit, the steak at Red Rum, and the mango bingsu at French & Co are my top three.
Is the Lamarck Night Market still running?
No, it’s currently closed. It used to run Saturday evenings, but whether it comes back is unclear — confirm with the resort directly before you visit.
Where should I go for a romantic dinner?
Pink Pearl. French set-menu dining plus live classical music makes it the most formal dining option on property.
Do you have to be a hotel guest to eat at JW Marriott Phu Quoc?
No. All 5 restaurants take outside diners. Only Pink Pearl requires a reservation.
How much is dinner at Pink Pearl?
It is set-menu only: roughly $90 for the 5-course vegetarian menu, $170 for 6 courses and $190 for 8 courses per person, before service charge and tax.
